Sand Peasant

The Sand Peasant is the only kind of mob that spawns in Desert Temple. It has a short-ranged attack, which this wiki calls melee.

Like every mob it stands still where it spawned until a player approaches or attacks it, then follows them. Once the player is inside its reach it swings its arms forward and damages them.

It moves a little slower than the player, so walking in a straight line is enough to stay outside the swing.
