Equipment Upgrades
Upgrading weapons or armors will increase its worth, meaning the equipment can be sold for more gold; however, it is not considered an effective way to earn currency as fully upgrading equipment only increases total value by 15% of the gold invested. The most common use of selling fully upgraded items - other than replacing lower-level gear, is when players assist others by upgrading the items traded to them and giving it back so they can sell at an increased Gold price.

Final sell value = original sell value + 0.15 × total upgrade Gold. These examples illustrate the added resale value, not equipment upgrade prices.
